Rodney Burris is the Co-founder, President, and Chief Financial Officer of Care Partners At Home, based in Newport Beach, California. With a career spanning various roles, including President and COO of Global Transitional Care and Vice President of Operations at Silverado Care, Rodney has extensive experience in healthcare management and home health services. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Resource Management and Business Management from Troy University and is passionate about using empathy and connection to enhance the quality of care in his professional endeavors.
Max Diamond, M.D. / Sr. VP Medical Affairs
Dr. Max Diamond is the Senior Medical Director at Regal Medical Group, where he manages inpatient care, skilled nursing, and utilization across a vast network of physicians. Previously, as Chief Medical Officer at North American Health Care, he led the organization to an exceptional CMS 5-Star Rating. A pioneer in hospitalist medicine, Dr. Diamond's career began with significant contributions to its development. He is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and specializes in hospice and healthcare quality. Recognized among "America's Top Physicians," Dr. Diamond also has notable military and early career achievements in programming and documentary production.
Jose Rodriguez
Jose is a Corporate Attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP, a large, multidisciplinary international law firm, where his practice has a particular emphasis on residential transition loan financing, mortgage securitizations, private equity add-on acquisitions and divestitures, acquisition financing and general corporate counseling. Prior to joining Winston & Strawn LLP, Jose worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., Duke Wealth Management, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., and served as a legal extern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He also has a half decade of experience in luxury real estate development and construction in the Chicagoland area. His educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University, which together have provided him with a robust, interconnected professional network.
Zef Vataj
Zef Vataj is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bee Mobile LLC, where he has been leading the company since December 2018. He is also a partner and COO of a hotel management company that specializes in taking over distressed projects and making them profitable; and the financial services and consulting firm, Somo Financial, that provides a plethora of services for all different stages of companies including fund raising and document prep. Zef has extensive experience in start-ups, management, and real estate. Additionally, he was a member of the City of Cambridge New Mobility Blueprint Advisory Group for two years. Ermias Abebe
Ermias is a mergers and acquisitions attorney at Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP. He advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as to both publicly and privately held companies, on complex transactions. These include mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts, and other strategic endeavors.
Ermias has represented private equity sponsors and publicly traded companies in transactions ranging from $1 million to $4.4 billion, spanning both the U.S. and international markets. Additionally, Ermias offers comprehensive counsel on a wide spectrum of general corporate matters and complex commercial arrangements.
Prior to his tenure with Benesch, Ermias was an attorney Winston & Strawn LLP in the Private Equity and M&A practice group. He also served as Associate Counsel for the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was the lead international media lawyer, overseeing international media and social media transactions. Ermias holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech University and a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.
